![]() ![]() It lets you know that the builder of the lot had MOO active while placing even one item on the lot. It's actually a hugely helpful update to the game for builders, and for those that like to download lots or rooms from the gallery to be placed in their own game. There is some information on taking screenshots if you haven't done this on this that (below) is the normal notice you see if the builder of the lot had MOO active while placing even one item on the lot. Is this message different or the same from the message you see in your game? If you download this lot from the gallery and place it in your game, do you see a different message? The message does not remain long, but if you could grab a screenshot of the message you see in your game if it's different and share it here so we can read it, that would be super helpful. and when I enter the lot I also see the message: Once the lot completed the placement, I got this message both in the World Map View. While the game is placing the lot you should see this screen: I just placed this lot in my game by going to the World Map View, choosing the lot from my library, and placing it on a 30x20 lot in Newcrest. It is available in the gallery under my name and is named "BaseGame $18.5K Starter". I have a lot that I made using only basegame items (no packs). If you then enter bb.moveobjects (for a second time) OR bb.moveobjects off then press enter, you should see a message below that states "Move Objects cheat is I please make an example/suggestion? Since I'm not sure how many packs you own, I am wondering if you would be able try something. In the cheats panel you enter bb.moveobjects OR bb.moveobjects on then press enter to turn it on, and you should see a message below that states "Move Objects cheat is ON". Move objects will need to be re-enabled when you enter or leave a lot. There are directions with screenshots at this page on enabling MOO, enlarging, raising and lowering, alt-placing objects, rotating, etc., if you find that helpful. Testing cheats does not need to be enabled to use MOO. Any items that are from a pack you don't own will also be removed. For instance, some items in debug are part of an animation for a task, such as cooking, and some of those will not remain if you placed them from debug. Also, certain debug items placed by a builder may be removed when placed because they were not items that will remain on a lot. The notice is also trying to let you know that because items were placed using MOO, there is a chance that issues will be present if they were not properly play-tested to make sure all areas are useable, etc., after using MOO to place things. That notice does not indicate that MOO has been enabled and is now enabled in your game or lot, but rather that everything that was placed in the lot will stick where placed, as it you had enabled MOO in order to place your lot. will get that green notice when placing any item in your game that used MOO, at all, when it was built. ![]() Information, Guides and Announcements for the EA app. ![]() NOW if your game crashes after u put in the cheat I need help on this too lol. Once your lot is completed package it, put your curent game back in and install. If you still have this problem after this, then you have a problem with either one of the downloads or your game installation as suggested but I really hope this should solve it. NB if u want to continue on a lot u are currently working on, package it in your current game then make sure it has been cleaned with clean install and upload to your new game. Please remember not to include any hacks or unneccesary build stuff in your new game, Put all your build files into a downloads folder for the new game and u are ready to start. Wait for a new game to take effect then exit. Put all your build materials ie terrain paint, walls, floors and custom objects into seperate files (only if u have NL will u be able to do this I think, put into separate files I mean), Take out your main game - my documents, ea games, THE SIMS 2- put in a safe place, rename if necessary with the date! ![]() My downloads folder is choc a bloc and my current game info is pretty hefty too so hardly surprising. When it comes to new builds (creating lots) I find that I avoid a lot of problems by building in a new game. ![]()
